invr—pronounced like “inviter”—is the consumer-facing invitation service for the SilverAspen Network. It helps you privately represent your capabilities and receive relevant invitations to roles, missions, grants, mentoring, peer circles, teams and ventures.

There is no public directory of people to browse. An opportunity comes to you, and you decide whether to continue.

invr is for people who want the right professional opportunities to find them without making their identity and history publicly searchable.

Our first community is cybersecurity, beginning in Virginia and building next toward California and London. The network is designed to expand into more capabilities, professions and regions over time.

Download the invr app from the App Store or Google Play and complete onboarding there. You will create a private way for the invitation service to reach you and choose which capabilities you want represented.

No. invr is not a public people directory. Organizations express a need, and the service looks for a relevant capability match without exposing a browsable list of names, faces, employers or work histories.

The invitation service is designed to work with proofs of professional capabilities rather than conventional personally identifying profile data. A credential can be selectively disclosed or redacted so that it proves a relevant capability without revealing unrelated personal information.

You do. A match can result in a private invitation and an out-of-band introduction. You decide whether to accept it and what information, credentials or contact details to share with the potential employer, mentor, coach, peer circle or venture.

No. SilverAspen services operate as separate service and data contexts. A verification service does not send its account, identity, credential or activity data to invr.

If you use one service to create a proof, that proof returns to you. You then decide whether to present it in another context.

An organization or network participant expresses a real capability need. invr checks whether a relevant capability exists and, when there is a potential match, sends a private message to the matching person’s peerwise decentralized identifier.

The organization learns that a relevant capability may exist—not that it can browse your identity.

Invitations can include roles, missions, grants, teams, mentoring, coaching, peer circles, professional connections and new ventures. A job is one possible outcome, but it is not the definition of the network.

No. An invitation is yours to consider. You can decline, accept an introduction, ask for more context or decide that the opportunity is not right for you. Nothing is shared with the other party unless you choose to continue.

A capability proof is evidence that supports a professional claim—for example, that you hold a credential, completed relevant work or demonstrated a skill. It is designed to confirm what matters for a match without requiring a full public profile.

Not for the initial capability match. A proof can omit or selectively disclose identifying fields. If you decide to continue with a connection, you choose whether and when revealing your identity is appropriate.

Multiple SilverAspen services can assist with identity and capability verification. They operate separately from invr and from one another. The resulting proof is controlled by you; the verification service does not automatically share its underlying data with the invitation service or a connection.

Organizations can express the missions, outcomes and capabilities they need, then privately invite relevant people when a match exists. They do not receive a searchable catalogue of individuals.

An organization can signal a capability it believes will matter and support people who want to develop it. That support may fund credentials, training, mentoring, applied work or another defined development path.

They cannot browse a public invr profile or a directory of participants. They can express a need and receive a signal that a relevant capability may exist. You decide whether an introduction continues and what you disclose after that.

When you disconnect from the invitation service, invr stops matching against your peerwise identifier and deletes information about you that is under its control, subject only to limited legal, security and operational exceptions described in the Privacy Notice.

Use the controls available in the app or email privacy@invr.ai. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person connected to the relevant peerwise identifier before acting on it.
